[SKETCHBOOK] First Sketches in Yogyakarta

Invited to join Sketching & Sharing' with Indonesia's Sketcher (IS) - Yogyakarta, finally I was motivated to unpack
my baggage and start sketching again! :)

First sketch was a warming up I did at home and the last two were drawn at Bringharjo market. It was my first time
to meet these sketching enthusiasts and to explore the biggest traditional market in Yogyakarta. And it was FUN!

Hi Eunike! I am your huge fan from Rome. I can't thank you enough for sharing tips and your exquisite artworks on the blog! I wish I discovered you sooner! I see that you draw and paint in your sketchbook while traveling. My question is: how do you keep/bring your drawing and painting tools with you while traveling? Especially when you use watercolors and all... thank you!

Kindest greetings from the Eternal City,

Dilla

@Fatharani Fadhilah, thank you for your comment.

I use a compact watercolour field box/set and a portable brush with water chamber (see the pics on http://eunikenugroho.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/moleskine-manchester-museum.html)

Or for better tips, check out my friend, Shevaun's post on http://botanicalsketches.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/museum-sketching.html

I hope it helps. Cheers.
