Alongside with the Paphiopedilum gloucopyllum illustration, I am working on the colour test of Paphiopedilum praestans before
all the flowers wither and flop. This study will guide me to
paint the illustration with proper colours.
The first flower withered and just flopped this afternoon, slightly turned more yellowish :(
lovin your works :)

ReplyDelete@Veronica, Thank you :)
This sketchbook was handmade by a friend of mine, using my favorite watercolour papers (specifically made for the orchids project). But, I can recommend you to try moleskine's watercolour notebook. It is great for watercolour washes.
Eunike, you are such an inspiring artist!! I want to pick up my brushes and join you!!
